Hi, we are a home schooling family! We use the Weaver Curriculum. How did we chose to home school, well we did not choose, God chose us for home schooling. We are called to train up our children in the way they should. That is what the bible says and that is the verse that was given to me, when the Spirit laid upon my heart. We had no child when God laid this upon my heart, my husband was not too keen on home schooling either. I saw that the Lord had more work to be done in our family........but the Spirit eventually changed his heart and we began our search. As we looked for the right "Christ centered" curriculum to use there were so many to choose from, Lord help me find it. I searched the internet and sent for every catalog. I looked at the safe, directed routes, Christian Liberty Academy, Abeka, Alpha Omega, Five in a Row and many other structured curriculum...but my heart was interested in a unit study approach, Sonlight was the first one that I looked at...and then I saw Unoffical Weaver website and the Spirit spoke to my heart and I have not been disappointed!!
